What to include in a bug report

The bug-report template above already prompts you for these, but in case you're writing from scratch, the most helpful reports include:

  • What you were trying to do— e.g. “I glued a BlurBox to a Chrome window and dragged the tab to a new window.”
  • What you expected to happen— e.g. “The BlurBox should follow the new window.”
  • What actually happened— e.g. “The BlurBox stayed on the old window and never moved.”
  • Your macOS version and Mac model — Apple menu → About This Mac.
  • BlurBox version— open BlurBox > About in the menu bar.
  • Screenshots or a screen recording if the issue is visual.

What to expect

We typically respond within two business days. During early access, we're paying close attention to every message — your feedback directly shapes what we build next.

Crash or freeze? If BlurBox crashed, macOS may have generated a crash report. To find it: open the Console app, click Crash Reports in the sidebar, and look for a recent BlurBox entry. Attach that to your bug report — it tells us exactly which line of code crashed.
